Time has been cheating us--last time I checked there was still a year to stretch, now we are looking at May right in the eye -- how did that even happen?? The past two years have been both fun, challenging and at times, heart wrenching. It's hard to be working as an emerging professional, looking for jobs post graduate and deal with other personal distractions. (Thank god the worst part is coming to an end soon, but not soon enough. )
On another interesting note, I'm writing a play called "AT THE END OF THE DAY" for the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. The play is inspired by David Hare's "The Breath of Life" premiered in Philadelphia in 2010. While "The Breath of Life" is a light and ideal bite of the realty in the world of separations, "AT THE END OF THE DAY" is a serious play depicting a bitter divorce and how everyone's life is effected by it in its own way. It is not about judging the "rights' and "wrongs" of people under pressure, rather it sheds subtly light on each character's personal struggle in coping with a life changing event such as divorce. At the end of the day, we must move on and learn to be happy again as life continuous...well, that was that.
